Major General Sir Henry TOMB Victoria Cross
Today, the 16th of December 2025 we had the missing lead lettering replaced on the headstone of Major General Sir Henry TOMBS Victoria Cross. One of four recipients buried on the Island & the only one buried at Carisbrooke Cemetery. This was only made possible with the help of Dave Crouch from Wight Stonemasonry Ltd. for which we are very grateful.
